BROOKLYN - Construction on the roads and rails this weekend could impact your travel plans.

The Brooklyn Bridge will be closed heading into Manhattan during the overnight hours. Drivers should stick with the Manhattan or Williamsburg bridges.

The Grand Street Bridge will also be shut down over Newtown Creek from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m., but the Metropolitan Avenue Bridge can be used as an alternative.

On mass transit, the Smith-9th Street subway station is closed for rehabilitation, along with the Central Avenue station. There will be no J trains running between Broadway Junction and Jamaica.
