Weekend construction to impact roads, rails

BROOKLYN - Scheduled construction projects could impact your travels on the roads and rails this weekend.

The Brooklyn Bridge will be closed heading into Manhattan during the overnight hours on Saturday, but it will reopen by 7 a.m. The Brooklyn-bound side of the Williamsburg Bridge will have a lane out on Saturday from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Evergreen Avenue will be shut down between Moffat and Chauncey streets from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Track work is scheduled on some subway lines. Straphangers are advised to check schedules before heading out.
