BROOKLYN - Straphangers who rely on the 'Q' train to get around will have to use buses for the next three weekends as there will be no service on that line between Prospect Park and Manhattan.

Today, commuters had to wait in a long line for transfer tickets to get on free shuttle buses that would take them from the Prospect Park station to Atlantic Terminal. Many of them expressed anger at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), saying they weren't notified ahead of the time about the service suspension.

Once riders reach Atlantic Terminal, they can take a Manhattan-bound 'N' or 'R' train.

Service on the 'Q' line is expected to be restored the weekend of March 19.
