BROOKLYN - Construction projects and special events will tie up Brooklyn roads this weekend.

The Children's Sports and Fitness Expo is being held at the Boys & Girls High School by Schenectady Avenue between Fulton Street and Atlantic Avenue. The event may cause heavy foot traffic in the area and drivers should be on the lookout for pedestrians.

The Park Slope Chamber of Commerce Seventh Heaven Festival will close Seventh Avenue between Flatbush Avenue and 16th Street from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

In addition, Bridge Street between Willoughby and Fulton streets will be closed 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Alternate-side parking rules will be in effect.

Mass transit will be affected by a number of track-work projects. Click the link for the traffic center to the left to find out more.
