BROOKLYN - There are some construction projects on the roads and rails that residents should be aware for this weekend.
One tube of the Queens Midtown Tunnel will be closed this weekend. The remaining tube will take on two-way traffic. Motorists should expect heavy delays in Manhattan and on the LIE. The 59th Street Bridge can be taken instead. The construction is expected to clear by 6 a.m. Monday.
The Brooklyn Bridge will be completely closed throughout the weekend for Manhattan-bound traffic. The bridge won't reopen until 6 a.m. on Monday. Heavy delays can be expected on the BQE and other downtown crossings.

Sunday is the Halloween Fall Festival from 10:30 a.m. until noon. The festival will close 6th Avenue from Saint Marks Place to Flatbush Avenue.
Alternate side of the street parking rules will in be effect this weekend city wide.
