BROOKLYN - For those driving through the borough this weekend, there are some events to keep abreast of.

One tube on the Carey Tunnel will be closed throughout the weekend for repairs. The remaining tube will only take on two-way traffic. This will likely cause congestion for those driving on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.

Montague Street will be closed from Clinton and Hicks streets on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. due to the Weekend Walks event.

Construction will be taking place on Meserole Street, which will be closed between Graham Avenue and Humboldt Street on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For mass transit, there will a lot of weekend track work taking place, so expect delays.
