West Indian Children's Day Parade held in BK

BROOKLYN - Labor Day weekend is here, which means that Brooklyn residents of West Indian background will be celebrating their culture.The annual West Indies Day Carnival and Parade is being held Monday, but today, kids had a chance to put on costumes and dance in the streets in the junior parade. The young participants of the event say it gives them a chance not only to have fun, but also to show pride in their heritage.
