West Indian pride on display for 2013 Carnival

BROOKLYN - The party is moving down Eastern Parkway with thousands of people showing off their West Indian pride for the 2013 Carnival.

Many parade goers are taking part in one West Indian Day Parade tradition by carrying the flag of their native country.

People are also putting their pride on display by wearing costumes and dancing to the traditional sounds of the Caribbean Islands, including steel pans, reggae and soca.
