BROOKLYN - The heavy rain and wind that drenched the borough today is expected to continue, bringing some 3-4 inches of rain through Wednesday.

Residents working outdoors in Bay Ridge and Sunset Park said they took advantage of some of today's dry moments to make deliveries and finish construction work. They said it's never enjoyable to work in the wet weather, but someone has to do it.

The storm system will move out of the area by this weekend, leaving sunny skies and temperatures above 70 degrees.
