Wet weather is lingering in Brooklyn, with more showers on the way. The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch through Tuesday morning.

BROOKLYN - Wet weather is lingering in Brooklyn, with more showers on the way.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch through Tuesday morning.

Forecasters say intermittent showers are expected through Tuesday night.

News 12 Meteorologist Darryl Green says that periods of rain will be heavy at times with a chance of thunderstorms overnight. Rainfall amounts are forecasted from 1-2 inches by late Tuesday. Flooding in poor drainage areas can be expected.
