BROOKLYN - Fierce winds knocked down trees and power lines across Brooklyn Sunday.

Despite sunny skies, the wind made it feel more like winter than spring.

Some residents told News 12 that they had to whip out winter clothes that they had packed away.

The city had been under a high-wind warning, with gusts of up to 60 mph.
