William Boyland Jr. wins 55th Assembly District primary

BROOKLYN - Incumbent Assemblyman William Boyland Jr. has won the Democratic primary for the 55th District seat. Boyland edged out a slew of candidates vying for the nomination, including Roy Antoine, Nathan Bradley, David Miller, Christopher Durosinmi, Anthony Jones and Anthony Herbert. Boyland was arrested last year on bribery charges in the borough after being acquitted in a separate bribery case in Manhattan.
