WILLIAMSBURG - A small Williamsburg company is making luxury accessories out of exotic materials.

The artists at Exovault use materials like aluminum, nickel and zebra wood to create iPhone cases and eyeglasses. Vice President Lance Mankowski says everyone at Exovault contributes input to the designs and final products.

All of the products are handmade, and the team says while their output is low, the products are high-quality.

"We feel we can make a better product here because we can control all the aspects of making the product," says Exovault owner Jonathan Schipper.

Exovault takes all of their orders online and also does custom work. Schipper says he hopes to expand his business.
