Williamsburg students design playground of their dreams

BROOKLYN - Williamsburg students got a chance to build the playground of their dreams yesterday on what Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz declared "Let's Play Day."

Markowitz joined children from Nuestros Ninos Child Development School, a program under the Administration for Children's Services. The students didn't have a playground within walking distance before.

The students had a chance to design plans, draw their playground and watch volunteers install a triple-racer slide as well as a rock-climing wall.
