Windsor Terrace to lose local grocer

WINDSOR TERRACE - Windsor Terrace residents are wondering where they will be buying their food as the only nearby grocery store has announced it will be closing.

The Key Foods is located at Prospect and 11th avenues.

The owner, who is in his 80s, wanted to retire and leased the space to Walgreens, according to the director of operations, Michael Jording.

Residents say that there will now only be a Shop Smart Food Mart a quarter-mile away and a C-Town nearly a mile away from the neighborhood.
