ATLANTA, Ga. - New York City is getting hit with another winter storm, but states in the southeast have already felt its wrath.

The National Weather Service map of the nor'easter shows possible effects in 22 states spanning all the way from Texas to Maine.

The storm swept through the nation’s capitol overnight, but crews there got to work quickly, clearing roads and sidewalks for the morning commute.

Raleigh, N.C. is getting a replay of what Atlanta experienced just two weeks ago with drivers caught in major traffic jams, some even abandoning their cars, due to the weather.

Atlanta was better prepared this time around. It had salt spreaders and snowplows at the ready, but power outages are the biggest problem after ice took down trees and power lines.
