BAY RIDGE - The storm that dumped more than a 2 feet of snow in the nation's capital arrived in Brooklyn Saturday, but didn't pack as big a punch.

A winter storm warning was in effect for most of the day. Parts of southern Brooklyn saw up to 6 inches, while northern parts saw about half of that. Snow tapered off Saturday afternoon.

Residents could expect to see another storm system in the middle of the week.
