BROOKLYN - A witness says a late-night pileup at a Bed-Stuy intersection ended in an arrest last night.

The crash happened at Bedford Avenue and Quincy Street in Bed-Stuy around 11 p.m. Sunday.

One witness says he was working inside a deli right next to the intersection when the crash occurred. He says he looked outside after he heard a loud bang and saw several cars smashed up against each other. He says one of the drivers jumped out and took off running, but was then allegedly put in handcuffs by police.

The witness says it did not appear that anyone was hurt.

Police have not yet confirmed any information about the accident.
