BROOKLYN - A group of Brooklyn students is working with Holocaust survivors to stage a unique play about a painful point in history.

News 12 attended a rehearsal for Witness Theater, where students from Joel Braverman High School are learning to tell the first-hand, emotional stories of Holocaust survivors.

The young actors and survivors say they've formed a special bond while working to bring the stories to life in a performance organized by Selfhelp Community Services. The hope is that both young and old will be reminded to never forget what happened.

Witness Theater will be presented to an audience at the high school's auditorium on April 27. Admission will be free.
