Witness Theater teams Joel Braverman High School students with Holocaust survivors

The emotional performance can be seen for free on April 27. (3/6/14)

BROOKLYN - A group of Brooklyn students is working with Holocaust survivors to stage a unique play about a painful point in history.

News 12 attended a rehearsal for Witness Theater, where students from Joel Braverman High School are learning to tell the first-hand, emotional stories of Holocaust survivors.

The young actors and survivors say they've formed a special bond while working to bring the stories to life in a performance organized by Selfhelp Community Services. The hope is that both young and old will be reminded to never forget what happened.
