Wolf Conservatory Center’s arctic wolf Atka visits Achievement First Crown Heights Middle School

BROOKLYN - Students at a Brooklyn school got a visit today from an arctic wolf.

Nearly 200 students at Achievement First Crown Heights Middle School gathered in their auditorium to see Atka, a large white arctic wolf who resides at the Wolf Conservatory Center.

Atka's trainer explained to the students about how wolves hunt, their diet, habitat and development.

Students got an extra kick out of the visit since a wolf is the school's mascot.
