BROOKLYN - Police say a man allegedly groped a woman on a southbound train.

The victim told police a man fell on her when the train suddenly jerked near the Hoyt and Schermerhorn Street train station Wednesday evening.

The 23-year-old woman says after falling, the man grabbed her waist and thigh.

She says when she tried to move the suspect grabbed her tighter, holding her in place until he eventually let her go.
