Woman allegedly ignored by EMTs had asthma attack

BROOKLYN - An autopsy report released Thursday shows that the young woman allegedly ignored by EMTs died from an asthma attack.

Eutisha Revee Rennix, 25, collapsed while working at Au Bon Pain on Dec. 9. EMTs who were on break allegedly refused to help the pregnant woman. She was taken by ambulance to Long Island College Hospital where she and her unborn daughter both died.

The two EMTs were suspended without pay. The District Attorney's office is investigating whether their inaction is criminal.
