Woman found stabbed on Cypress Hills street

A woman was rushed to the hospital after being found on a sidewalk in Cypress Hills with multiple stab wounds. According to police, the victim,

BROOKLYN - A woman was rushed to the hospital after being found on a sidewalk in Cypress Hills with multiple stab wounds. 

According to police, the victim, who is believed to be in her 30s, was discovered on the corner of Liberty and Van Sinderen avenues at around 6 a.m. Thursday. 

They say the woman was unresponsive, and had suffered stab wounds to her head, arm and other parts of her body. She is being treated for a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain and remains in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital. 

Authorities are searching for suspects and clues about what happened. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
