Woman injured in Bensonhurst apartment building fire

An 80-year-old woman was injured in a fire that burned through her Bensonhurst apartment Tuesday.

The fire occurred on the corner of 5th Avenue and Quentin Road in a six-floor residential building around 6:30 a.m.

BROOKLYN - An 80-year-old woman was injured in a fire that burned through her Bensonhurst apartment Tuesday.

The fire occurred on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Quentin Road in a six-floor residential building around 6:30 a.m.

The woman was taken to Staten Island University Hospital.

Fire marshals are investigating the cause.
