Woman seriously hurt after falling on subway tracks

BROOKLYN - A woman was seriously hurt this morning after falling on the subway tracks in Gravesend.

Officials say the woman was caught between two cars on the N line at the Avenue U subway station at around 4 a.m. The EMT chief says she had several very serious injuries and has been taken to Lutheran Medical Center.

An investigation into how she ended up on the tracks is ongoing.
