Woman struck by green taxicab in Gowanus hit-and-run

A woman was injured in a hit-and-run in Gowanus Saturday night.

BROOKLYN - A woman was injured in a hit-and-run in Gowanus Saturday night.

The woman was walking along 11th Street at Third Avenue just before midnight, when she was struck by a green taxi.

The driver then sped off, leaving the woman in the street.

She was taken to Methodist Hospital and is expected to be OK.
