BROOKLYN - Women created video games during a 48-hour jam session this weekend at NYU Polytechnic Institute.

The event was organized by Code Liberation Foundation, which aims to get more women involved in the male-dominated field of game developing.

Ladies at all levels of game design and programming teamed up to create new video game prototypes entirely from scratch.

Women make up just about 4 percent of video game programmers.
