Women make daring escape from flames in East Flatbush

A two-alarm fire ripped through an East Flatbush home, forcing residents to make a dramatic escape Sunday.Neighbors of 3917 Foster Ave. say an 18-year-old woman

EAST FLATBUSH - A two-alarm fire ripped through an East Flatbush home, forcing residents to make a dramatic escape Sunday.Neighbors of 3917 Foster Ave. say an 18-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman were forced to climb onto a neighboring house?s balcony and jump two stories to the ground. The girls? 43-year-old mother was able to get out using the fire escape.Red Cross officials say the three women suffered minor injuries. Many others from inside the home escaped unharmed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
