BROOKLYN - Alex Rodriguez's drug suspension was cut to 162 games from 211 by arbitrator Fredric Horowitz, a decision that sidelines the New York Yankees third baseman the entire 2014 season.

Rodriguez also would be sidelined for any postseason games under the decision announced Saturday.

News 12 asked residents what they thought about A-Rod's seasonlong suspension.

One resident said that he shouldn't have been suspended, but they should have taken his awards away.

Another resident said everyone deserves a second chance, while another said he got what he deserved.
