BROOKLYN- - A new smartphone app promises to keep the mosquitos away.

The app is called the "Anti Mosquito Sonic Repeller," and it supposedly works by emitting a high-frequency sound that humans can't hear, but keeps away mosquitos.

News 12 Brooklyn hit the streets to ask residents what they thought about using their smartphones to keep the bugs away.
