BROOKLYN - More and more retailers are announcing that they'll cut into the Thanksgiving holiday with extra early-bird deals.

Target is the latest retailer to kick off its shopping season sooner than the traditional Black Friday. Macy's and Kmart are among the other stores opening on Thanksgiving.

News 12 hit the streets to see if Brooklyn residents thought bargains were worth compromising holiday family time.

Most people said they don't like the idea of shopping on Thanksgiving, and would rather spend that time with loved ones.
