BROOKLYN - A recent study by the American Heart Association indicates that coffee boosts the function of small blood vessels in people who are already healthy.

News 12 Brooklyn asked Brooklyn residents if they thought an extra cup of joe was good for their health.

One person said, "If anything, it's going to encourage me to have that third latte a day."

Another person agreed, "Yes; I'm going to drink more coffee if it's going to benefit me in a healthy way."

However, not everyone was so quick to believe the new study. "They say something new every day, so it's not going to influence my decision," said one resident.
