BROOKLYN - Believe it or not, Uber is celebrating four years in New York City.

Officials say that there are now more Uber cabs driving around the five boroughs than there are yellow taxis, even though many people say they didn't know about it until the past several months.

In an honor of the anniversary, News 12 asked Brooklyn residents about Uber, and whether they would rather use its services or the more traditional taxi.

Most say they think Uber is a reliable alternative with an app that makes it quick and easy to get around.
