BROOKLYN - A major shakeup in student admissions is reaching one of the country's biggest private colleges.

George Washington University in Washington, D.C. joins a list of colleges no longer requiring the SAT and ACT scores of incoming students.

The National Center for Fair and Open Testing says that at least 800 schools nationwide have dropped the standardized tests -- which in the past were mandatory for most higher education.

News 12 hit the streets to see what local college students had to say about that.
