BROOKLYN - Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill Monday allowing dogs at restaurants.

The new law enables restaurants to let leashed dogs join diners in outdoor eating areas.

Restaurant owners will still be able to choose whether or not they want to allow the pets.
