BROOKLYN - You may have to add a separate app to message your friends through Facebook.

Facebook has decided to force users to download a separate messenger application in order to read or send messages through the social network.

News 12 Brooklyn set out to see what social media users think about it.

Some say having to download a separate application doesn't bother them. Others don't want to have to use something separate from the Facebook app itself.
