NEW YORK - Parents across the city have different methods of dealing with the influx of Halloween candy their kids will bring home tonight.

Some say they thoroughly check their kids' candy to see if any wrappers have been tarnished or broken.

Others insist they're more concerned with their children eating too much, prompting them to split up the treats among several nights.
