BROOKLYN - Studies have shown that the holidays can exacerbate feelings of depression, anxiety and loneliness.

Many Brooklyn residents agree, saying that people worry this time of year about not having enough money for gifts or even not having family to celebrate with.

Some viewers suggested to News 12 that the best way to work through holiday depression is to volunteer for charitable causes.
