BROOKYLN - A recent Pew Research Center report found that 75 percent of young women believe that more needs to be done to increase equality among men and women, despite the narrowing pay gap.

The study finds women under 32 now make 93 percent of what young men earn.

However, research suggests that pay gap will widen for women by their mid-30s.

One Brooklyn resident said, "I think men are making more because men are the ones that do the decision-making about how much people make."

Looking toward the future, another Brooklyn resident said, "I believe that women are going to start making more because women are more detailed-oriented than men and they're able to do a better job."
