BROOKLYN - Researchers are issuing a new warning about indoor tanning.

A new study shows hitting the tanning bed is linked to a higher risk of developing skin cancer at a younger age.

The study also finds that the risk for early onset basal cell carcinoma is particularly high among people who were first exposed to indoor tanning as teens or young adults.

News 12 Brooklyn hit the streets to see what residents think about indoor tanning.
