Word on the Street: Leaving cellphones at home

BROOKLYN - Many people say they are reliant on their cellphones.  However, others, such as actresses Sarah Jessica Parker and "Divergent" star Shailene Woodley say they don't even own a cellphone.

News 12 asked residents if they could leave their cellphones a home for a few hours.

The majority of residents said they wouldn't want to part with their phones.  Some say they need it for work and want to know what's going on.

One resident said he occasionally leaves his phone at home when he takes a quick stroll or runs an errand.
