BROOKLYN - Major League Baseball announced that by 2015, 30 teams must install either hand-held or walk-through metal detectors in stadiums to screen fans.

News 12 Brooklyn asked residents what they thought about the new measure.

Most residents thought metal detectors would be a good idea.

Some residents questioned the practicality of the new measure.
