Word on the Street: New study reveals Americans are sleeping more, working less
BROOKLYN - A new study from the U.S. Department of Labor says that Americans are sleeping more and working less.
Of the 11,000 people older than 15 that were surveyed, the average person is getting eight hours and 45 minutes of sleep a night, and watching TV is their top hobby. News 12 Brooklyn took to the streets to ask residents how they spend their day.
Several people said they work out and relax in their spare time. Others said they go out to bars, and some mentioned hobbies such as practicing an instrument.
