BROOKLYN - A new study by Simon-Kucher and Partners reveals that consumers shop online because of convenience and service.

The survey finds that less than a quarter of people cite low prices as the reason they turn to the web for shopping.

"I don't have to leave my house. I don't have to get dressed. I don't have to get in the car, or on the train and it arrives right to me," says online shopper Alvesha Cruz.

Other Brooklyn shoppers say that they like online shopping because they can get items that they would normally not find in New York City.
