BROOKLYN - A new app is helping parents keep close tabs on their kids in school.

PupilPath gives parents access to their children's grades, assignments and attendance straight from their iPhone or iPad. They can even message their children's teachers.

News 12 asked Brooklyn residents what they thought of the app, and most said it was a great tool for concerned parents.

More than 500 city schools have already synced up with the app.
