BROOKLYN - If you’ve kept a present from someone that was already given to them as a gift, or re-gifted something you didn’t want, you’re not alone.

News 12 asked Brooklyn residents about re-gifting items that they’ve received for the holiday season.

Many residents say it’s OK to re-gift if someone gives you a gift and you don’t like it, or if you think somebody else could use it.

Others say they would keep the gift even if it’s something they didn’t want, because the person was nice enough to give it to them.
