BROOKLYN - A study conducted by the Daily Mail U.K. found that Jan. 6 is the most depressing day of the year.

The study suggests this is because people are already struggling to keep their New Year's resolutions.

News 12 Brooklyn asked residents if they're sticking to their 2014 goals.

Many said they were successful in keeping their resolutions. One resident said that she has been able to save more by not spending money on nonsense.

Another resident said that he had planned on quitting smoking. However, he didn't keep the resolution because he says he enjoying smoking.
