BROOKLYN - Which one is more likely to get your "like" of approval on social media--animals, scenery or people?

A new study shows that selfies may be the key to Instagram popularity.

The study done by the Georgia Institute of Technology and Yahoo Labs researchers shows pictures of people are nearly 40 percent more likely to get likes and comments on Instagram than pictures of animals or scenery.

News 12 Brooklyn hit the streets to find out which one residents prefer.
