BROOKLYN - Many Brooklyn parents let their children win, whether it's at board games, races or other friendly competitions. Some people argue that losing has its advantages too. They say letting children lose at a board game like Candy Land every now-and-again can chip away at their fear of failure.

News 12 hit the street to ask residents their opinions about the issue.

Many people say that children have to experience both winning and losing to become well-adjusted adults.

Others say there's no harm in letting children who are very young win from time-to-time.
