BROOKLYN - Today is President Barack Obama's birthday.

The commander-in-chief celebrated turning 53 years old on the golf course and at Camp David over the weekend.

News 12 decided to hit the streets to see what people in Brooklyn would get the president for his special day if they could.

Some say they'd get him sports-related gifts, such as a Brooklyn Nets hat, while others would simply wish him a life of happiness and prosperity. Another person would give him a new government.
